The Human Resource Assistant will support the daily operations of the Human Resources Department, including recruitment administration, onboarding and offboarding, employee records management, attendance and leave tracking, staff training coordination, employee welfare and HR reporting.

The role will assist with screening applications, conducting reference and background checks, preparing employment documents, maintaining personnel files and updating employee information in the Odoo HRIS. The successful candidate will also support staff orientation, training activities, employee engagement initiatives and the preparation of HR correspondence and reports.

This position is suitable for a recent graduate with up to two years of relevant experience who is organized, professional, detail-oriented and willing to learn. The role requires good communication skills, discretion when handling confidential information, basic knowledge of human resource practices and familiarity with Uganda labour laws.  

The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures and power systems across RHSP-owned and rented premises.

The role will assess electrical requirements, support budgeting and procurement planning, advise on technical specifications for new equipment and installations, and respond to electrical faults and malfunctions. The Electrician will also determine when external technical support is required and follow up on maintenance work performed by service providers.

The position includes electrical and solar installation, generator and inverter maintenance, equipment testing, voltage protection, user safety training and monitoring the performance of electrical equipment. The successful candidate will help maintain RHSP generators, inverters, freezers, air-conditioning systems and other electrical infrastructure in safe and reliable working condition.

The role requires a minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Installation, at least two years of relevant experience, a valid ERA electrical wiring certificate, experience in complex generator wiring and practical knowledge of solar installation and maintenance. The candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication, reporting and supervisory skills and be willing to work in remote areas with minimal supervision.
